Monash University Low FODMAP Certified™
Our combination product, Quatrase contains four enzymes for the following types of intolerances, and is taken at the time of meal or drink:
Lactose Intolerance
Fructose Intolerance
Sucrose Intolerance
Fructan and Galactan Intolerance
As enzymes act locally in the gut, if you have two or three intolerances, not all four, there is no problem in taking an enzyme that you do not need, so this would be the preferable option for both convenience of only needing to carry one product with you, and more cost effective.
Directions for use: Take one to three capsules with liquid (or twist open capsule and place contents in liquid and stir) immediately before eating/drinking a product containing either lactose, fructose, sucrose, fructans and/or galactans. Lasts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Maximum of 15 capsules daily.
Contents of each capsule: Alpha Galactosidase 1200iu, Xylose Isomerase 7500iu, Lactase 10,000FCC, Invertase 500iu. Excipients: Calcium Carbonate. HPMC capsule suitable for vegetarians.
