La Cantina King Valley

This ancestral method sparkling Sangiovese (or Pet Nat if you're trendy) is vibrant, light and delicious. It's full of bright red berry characters with some added complexity from the cloudy yeast lees. Fine, persistent bubbles and bright acidity mean it's the perfect refreshing pink bubbly in the warmer months.

Pinot Grigio is widely planted throughout the King Valley. The cool climate of the area is ideal for growing the variety, allowing our Pinot Grigio to retain its natural acidity right up until harvest. This allows us to produce a crisp, well balanced wine, with citrus and green pear notes that nicely matches with seafood or is simply enjoyed by itself.

Dolcetto means “little sweet one” in Italian, however traditional Dolcetto wines – from Northern Italy, are dry in style. Our Dolcetto is made in a dry style, with floral aromatics, bright red fruit notes, a deep red colour and a light body. The perfect summer red.

Originating from Tuscany – the same region Gino grew up in, Sangiovese is a medium bodied, savoury Italian red. Often called “the wine of the food” because of its ability to match many dishes, it displays a ruby red colour with notes of bright plum and deeper, earthy spice.

Our Shiraz is full-bodied, with a deep red colour.  It is filled with ripe berry and dark chocolate characters balanced by soft toasty French oak, with a hint of pepper on the palate.

Originating from Georgia, Saperavi translates to “ink” or “dye”, as it is one of the few grape varieties that has bright red flesh. This creates a big, full bodied wine that has an intense deep purple colour, supported by a bouquet of berries and rich, firm tannins.
