Been diagnosed with eosinophilic oesophagitis? Here’s what you need to know – Dr Santosh Sanagapalli

Dr Santosh Sanagapalli is a consultant Gastroenterologist and director of the Centre for Swallowing & Oesophageal Disorders, St Vincent’s Hospital campus, Sydney. After completing his gastroenterology specialisation in Sydney, he undertook a clinical research fellowship at the University College London Hospital, UK, a large tertiary referral centre for oesophageal disorders. Dr Sanagapalli was awarded a PhD by the University of Sydney for his thesis presenting new methods that improve the accuracy of diagnosis of swallowing disorders. At St Vincent’s, he runs a busy clinical practice where he treats patients with EoE and other oesophageal disorders, as well as supervising an active clinical research program in EoE at the affiliated Centre for Applied Medical Research.
