Founded by Yarrie Bangura, a former refugee, who wanted to bring the flavours of her home in Sierra Leone to her new Australian community.
Since arriving in Australia, Yarrie has received support from refugee programs like Ignite Small Business Start-Ups, since the early days of her business and now, five years later, is selling her product in select Harris Farms and Dan Murphy’s stores. It’s her mission to make her ginger tonics a household name and dedicate all profits towards supporting other female refugees in Australia.
Yarrie first launched AGT with her original flavour – Ginger & Tamarind – inspired by her grandmother’s West African recipe. After popular demand, she’s just released three all new zesty flavours – Lemon, Pineapple, and Cloves. Trust us, they’re SO good!
